National Age Group 2009

I would personally encourage all juniors U-16 in Kuantan to take part in this two days event!. This annual event is held to pick our best juniors for ASEAN, Asia and world youth event this year!.

I had a very nice memories playing at National Juniors event years ago. The first event was held in 1990, but I only took part since the year 1991. It was a challenging event indeed as the players battle for the spot in the National Junior Squad for the World Juniors and World youth event. During my time, players like Wong Zi Jing, Peter Lim, Mas Hafizul, Ahmad Maliki, Roslina Marmono, Geraldine, Wendy Lai and others (too many to mention, some of them were national players currently).

To all Kuantan Players.. go and took part in this annual event! the only event for juniors!

Kudos also to our young Kelab player Muhammad Haris Farhan Mohamed Zubir who actually fought the battle till 5pm! For Kuantan kids, the senario to actually holds such stamina is impressive since that is his first simul ever!

Thanks to En Nordin for the info (well, he fought until the end.. losing the endgame.. hey! not bad.. not bad... for someone who seldom play!) Thanks again for the info!
