Announcement made by En Ibrahim Bakar - VP MCF, top 4 from each event at NCC will be selected to be at Malaysian Masters Elite Top 16 event (same format knock out round like the World Championship knock-out).
The Champ in OPEN event will be automatically selected to play for Malaysia in the coming Chess Olimpiad at Khantuy-Mansyik in Oct 2010.
