Shawn Foo looks convincing to win the Board 5 prize! All he need to do is to stop playing the remaining games! If he play and lost his percent will change.

Board List
Here are the top ten contenders for board prizes! There are 3 Boards that have 2 person with the same score!
On Board 1 Dzhurabek (Magic) and Gerhard (International Rhapsody) both with the same score. On Board 2, Nicholas Chan (SMS Gold) and Saidali (Uzbek Connection) are both with the same score. And the same goes to Board 4 Kamaludin Yusof (Mamak the Sequel) in the list with the 100% score, But he is in the list together with Khoo Chang Gee from Penang Dinobot. It is too early to announce the winner yet, we shall see in the remaining 2 rounds to go.
And Lye Lik Zang from Kids For Chess Freedom (U16) also with 100% score for board 3.
Merdeka Team - Round 8 Pairing
It is going to be an interesting match at 9am tomorrow, coz the leader Chesskidz only lead the field with 1 point ahead of Bengal tigers. Tomorrow, Chesskidz will meet Magic Team, and lets see if Magic can really do magic! While Bengal Tigers will faced a tough team named Uzbek Connection.

Pic left : Table 7 - Crusher vs Sabah. And result was 3.5 - 0.5
Pic right : Table 9 - Astro Ladies sitting on the top board vs International Rhapsody (led by GM Gerhard). And the result was 0-4.
Pic left : Table 1 - SMS Gold vs Chesskidz Men's Team. It was an impressive performance by SMS Gold, they almost won against them until the last board SMS made a blunder! The score was 2-2.
Pic right : Table 2 - Bengal Tigers vs Mamak the Sequel. Good job to Mamak coz they have climbed to second board! But unfortunately they lost by 3-1 to Bengal. Only Kamaludin won.

Pic left : Chesskidz Men's Team (led by GM Nelson Mariano and GM Bong Vilamayor) vs Uzbek Connection (led by GM Marat & GM Saidali) the result was chesskidz won by 3-1 (with the only win from Uzbek came from GM Saidali)
Pic right : Muhd Syazwan and Ismail Ahmad - the last 2 boards player from Uzbek team
Pic left : The Mamak Sequal (led by Nik Farouqi, Saprin, Fairin & Kamaludin) vs Petronas (led by IM Mas Hafizul together with Irman, Ruzenan & Razief). The result was Mamak won by 2.5 to 1.5 with IM Mas won and Irman drew their game)
Pic right : Penang (led by the newly crowned NM Tan Khai Boon) vs Bangka Belitung (a team comprised of Indonesians led by Sutarno) and the result was - 0.5 to 3.5 belongs to Bangka.
Pic left : Klang Kiwis vs SMS Gold (led by IM Mok and the brothers FM Nicholas and NM Marcus) SMS gold won by 3.5 to 0.5.
Pic right : Marfori (led by Castelano, carlos, aquino and Magdalaga) vs Bengal Tigers (a team comprising of GM Niaz Murshed, RR Laxman, Abdullah Saif and Malaysian ELgin Lee). The result - Bengal won by 2.5 to 1.5 with Elgin securing the win for Bengal!
